Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in September 2025, and leaks are already revealing key features.
From a redesigned frame to powerful new cameras, here’s what’s expected for Apple’s next-generation Pro models.
1. New Aluminum Frame
Apple is rumored to switch from titanium to aluminum, marking a shift from the iPhone 15 and 16 Pro models. The back of the device will reportedly feature a part-aluminum, part-glass design.
2. Larger Rectangular Camera Bump
The camera bump will now be rectangular with rounded edges, though Apple is keeping the triangular lens arrangement from previous models.
3. Scratch-Resistant Display
The iPhone 17 Pro will feature a more durable anti-reflective coating, making the screen more resistant to scratches.
4. Bigger Battery
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to have a slightly thicker body, allowing for a larger battery to improve battery life.

6. Apple-Designed Wi-Fi 7 Chip
For the first time, all iPhone 17 models will feature a Wi-Fi 7 chip designed by Apple, replacing Broadcom’s version.

Apple is working on improved heat dissipation, with rumors of a vapor chamber cooling system for the Pro models.
