Apple has released iOS 18.4 and visionOS 2.4 Beta 2, bringing two brand-new apps to iPhone and Vision Pro users.
The update introduces the Apple Vision Pro app on iPhones and the Spatial Gallery app on Vision Pro.
Apple Vision Pro App for iPhone
The new Apple Vision Pro app in iOS 18.4 is designed to help users manage their Vision Pro headset. It works similarly to the Apple Watch app, allowing users to:
- View their Vision Pro’s model number, software version, and serial number.
- Access tips and the Vision Pro user guide.
- Discover new Vision Pro content, including immersive videos, apps, and games.
The app’s interface features a Discover page, making it easy to browse the latest Vision Pro updates and content, just like the Today tab in the App Store.
Spatial Gallery App for Vision Pro
Vision Pro users also get a new Spatial Gallery app in visionOS 2.4 Beta 2. This app serves as a dedicated space for spatial photos, videos, and panoramic shots. It also includes curated content from artists, cultural events, and entertainment brands.
Users can explore perspectives from photographers like Jonpaul Douglass and Samba Diop, behind-the-scenes moments from Apple Originals, and experiences from brands like Cirque du Soleil, Red Bull, and Porsche.
Release and Availability
Both apps are now available for beta users running iOS 18.4 Beta 2 and visionOS 2.4 Beta 2. Apple is expected to release them publicly in early April.
