Itel has introduced the Power 70, a budget-friendly smartphone featuring a 6,000mAh battery with an additional 4,000mAh charging case.
This combination offers a total battery capacity of 10,000mAh, making it one of the most affordable long-lasting smartphones on the market.
Battery and Charging Features
The Power 70’s 6,000mAh battery ensures long-lasting performance, while the included 4,000mAh charging case extends the battery life even further.
The case connects via the phone’s Type-C port and supports 18W wired charging. However, wireless charging is not supported.
Display and Design
The Power 70 sports a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 700 nits. Itel calls it a “Sunlight Display”, designed to remain visible even in bright outdoor conditions.
The display also supports wet and oily touch controls, making it practical for daily use.
Performance and Storage
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G50 Ultimate chipset and comes with up to 8GB of RAM. Storage options range from 128GB to 256GB, and the storage is expandable via a microSD card.
However, the phone uses eMMC 5.1 storage, which is slower than UFS storage found in higher-end devices.
Camera and Other Features
The Power 70 features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera, both capable of recording 1080p video.
Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm audio jack, and dual SIM slots. Unfortunately, the device does not come with NFC support.
Price and Availability
The Itel Power 70 is priced at under $85, including the charging case as a launch gift. However, it’s unclear if the case will remain a permanent part of the package. The phone is available in black, silver, marine, and gold color options.
The Power 70 is an excellent option for those seeking a budget smartphone with a massive battery life and decent features.
