Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has addressed major concerns about Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) in a recent CNBC interview, covering topics from AI use to violence concerns.
On development, Zelnick emphasized that Rockstar Games aims for “creative perfection,” explaining why the game takes so long to create. He noted that GTA V has been a “standard bearer” for the industry across three generations of gaming consoles.
Regarding AI use, Zelnick clarified that while they use digital tools, “the genius is human.” He also addressed the actors’ strike, stating that Take-Two believes in protecting and properly compensating human performers, including cases where their work is replicated by AI.
