Delta Force, the modern free-to-play reboot of the classic tactical FPS, is getting its much-anticipated Black Hawk Down campaign on February 21.
Developer Team Jade, a Tencent subsidiary, announced the release date alongside a new teaser trailer.
The Black Hawk Down campaign is a remake of the 2003 Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, which itself was based on real events from the 1993 Somali Civil War.
The new DLC will let players relive the intense urban combat in Mogadishu, Somalia, where a US military task force fought to survive after a mission went wrong.

Currently, Delta Force is only available on PC, but console and mobile versions are expected later this year.
With its large-scale battles and tactical gameplay, Delta Force is drawing comparisons to EA’s Battlefield series.
Meanwhile, Battlefield’s next entry is also in the works, with EA introducing Battlefield Labs, a new community-driven testing program aimed at avoiding the issues that plagued Battlefield 2042.
Whether Delta Force’s Black Hawk Down DLC can recapture the magic of the original remains to be seen, but fans won’t have to wait long to find out.
