Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) rumors are intensifying, following a leaked release date and speculation about a potential $100 price tag for the upcoming title.
A Spanish online store, XUruguay, recently listed GTA 6 with a September 17, 2025 release, coinciding with the 12th anniversary of GTA V.
The listing was quickly removed, raising questions about its authenticity. The leak aligns with Rockstar’s previously hinted fall 2025 window, adding to speculation.
Industry analyst Matthew Ball suggests that GTA 6 could launch with a $100 price, reflecting the growing trend of AAA game price hikes.
This would be a significant leap, especially after the $70 pricing seen with next-gen console releases.
However, neither Rockstar nor Take-Two Interactive have confirmed any details regarding the price or date.
