Brad Winderbaum, executive producer of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (YFNSM), clarified that the show’s “unique” release schedule is not tied to the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series.
Instead, Winderbaum attributes the schedule to Marvel’s ongoing experimentation with episodic content releases.
The show will debut in four multi-episode parts:
Winderbaum explained that the release format was designed to allow each part of the series to “stand on its own feet,” particularly given the amount of Marvel content slated for 2025.
The decision also reflects the show’s unique high school soap opera elements, which Winderbaum compared to Degrassi High.
He emphasized that the show’s episodic pacing will enhance character development, giving fans a fresh viewing experience.
