Jennie Drops Debut Solo Album ‘Ruby’ with Star-Studded Collaborations

BLACKPINK’s Jennie has announced her debut solo album, Ruby, set to release on 7 March.

The album marks a significant milestone in her career as she steps into the spotlight as an independent artist.

Ruby features 15 tracks, including her hit single Mantra, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Global Excl US chart.

The album boasts collaborations with global music icons like Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, Doechii, Dominic Fike, FKJ, and Kali Uchis.

Jennie revealed the album through a teaser video on 21 January. The project will be released under her independent label, Odd Atelier, which she launched in late 2023. This move signifies a new chapter in her career, allowing her greater creative freedom.

In an interview with Billboard, Jennie opened up about the challenges of time management during the album’s creation. She also expressed excitement for the future and her growth as a solo artist.

Fans worldwide eagerly await Ruby, which promises to showcase Jennie’s versatility and artistry. With its star-studded lineup and personal touch, the album is set to make waves in the music industry.
