Ahead of the January 22 launch of the Galaxy S25 series, a retail leak has revealed a significant downgrade for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The device’s S Pen will no longer feature Bluetooth connectivity, meaning it will lose key functions like remote control and air gestures, which were previously available with Bluetooth-enabled S Pens.

While the S Pen remains a powerful tool for productivity on the Galaxy S Ultra series, this downgrade may disappoint users who rely on its advanced features.

However, a non-Bluetooth S Pen will no longer require charging, as it will draw power directly from the device.

Despite this downgrade, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to bring other exciting upgrades, including a 40% faster performance, a larger vapor chamber for improved cooling, a new ultrawide camera, and enhanced low-light video capabilities.

The device is also rumored to sport a refreshed design.

The S25 Ultra will be available for reservation, offering $50 Samsung Credit, up to $1,250 in savings, and a chance to win a $5,000 sweepstakes prize.
