Shiba Inu (SHIB) has reached a significant milestone with 1.38 million wallets holding balances as of January 8, 2025, marking a 100,000 wallet increase in 2024.
This surge in holders is mirrored by the asset’s price growth, which jumped from $0.00001 to $0.00003 over the same period.
According to IntoTheBlock data, SHIB’s wallet addresses with balances have grown dramatically, with 750,000 new wallets added in less than four years.
The number of wallets with balances reached 1.28 million at the start of 2024, and by the end of the year, this figure had surpassed 1.38 million.
Interestingly, the total number of SHIB addresses hit an all-time high of 4.54 million, though a large portion of these (3.16 million) have zero balances.
Despite a recent 5% drop in SHIB’s price, which now stands at $0.00002176, experts remain optimistic.
Analyst Javon Marks has highlighted bullish signals for SHIB, predicting a potential surge of 264% to $0.000081 in the short term.
This follows SHIB’s recent breakout of a long-term resistance trendline, marking a seven-month high at $0.00003329.
The strong growth in wallet numbers and positive predictions indicate that SHIB could see further upward momentum in 2025, especially if the broader crypto market stabilizes after recent inflationary concerns.
