At CES 2025, amid the impressive technological innovations, one product stands out for its cuteness: the Mirumi robot mascot.

Created by Yukai Engineering, this $70 furry robot is designed to capture hearts with its simple yet adorable functionality.

Mirumi is not your typical robot. Its main feature is its ability to detect movement and turn its head towards passersby, making it seem like it’s trying to interact with them.

The robot can be attached to your arm, bag, or any other item, and it reacts to movement by turning its head in that direction. You can also gently tap the back of Mirumi to trigger the movement manually.

Mashable discovered Mirumi at CES Unveiled, the event where startups showcase their most attention-grabbing products.

The robot is designed to recreate the joyful experience of seeing a baby interact with people, making it a perfect companion for anyone who enjoys a bit of cuteness in their day.

While some might not immediately get the appeal, the Mirumi has the potential to become a popular accessory. It’s a fun, low-cost robot that could easily capture the hearts of fans, especially if Yukai Engineering eventually secures licenses for popular characters like Baby Yoda.

Mirumi will be available for $70, making it an affordable option for those who want to bring a bit of furry fun into their lives. Yukai Engineering plans to launch a crowdfunding campaign later this year.
