It Ends With Us

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s feud has sparked a wave of media attention, especially after the release of It Ends With Us.

The two actors, who starred together in the movie, have been involved in legal battles and public disputes, raising questions about what really happened behind the scenes.

How Did the Feud Begin?

The tension between Lively and Baldoni became noticeable in August 2024 during promotional activities for the film.

Lively was seen promoting the movie with her co-stars, but Baldoni, who also directed the film, was absent from interviews.

Fans quickly noticed that Lively did not follow Baldoni on Instagram, and neither did the rest of the cast.

Speculation about a rift grew, especially after Lively mentioned in an interview that her husband, Ryan Reynolds, had written part of a key scene in the movie.

Baldoni, on the other hand, joked that Lively should direct a sequel, which added fuel to the fire.

The Lawsuits

In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment. She also claimed that Baldoni had launched a “social manipulation” campaign against her to damage her reputation.

Baldoni strongly denied the allegations, calling them “completely false” and accusing Lively of trying to repair her image after negative press from the film’s production.

Just days after Lively’s lawsuit, Baldoni joined 10 other plaintiffs in suing The New York Times for $250 million over its coverage of Lively’s accusations.

The newspaper stood by its reporting, stating that it had accurately quoted documents and communications.

Blake Lively’s Allegations

Lively’s lawsuit detailed several claims about Baldoni’s behavior on set. She accused him of inappropriate comments and actions, including discussions about her weight and personal life.

Lively also alleged that a meeting was held in January 2024 to address her concerns, with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, present.

Some of her demands included stopping discussions about Baldoni’s alleged past issues and no more inappropriate comments or actions on set.

Baldoni’s Response

In his own lawsuit, Baldoni offered a different version of events. He denied many of Lively’s claims, stating that his actions were professional and that any emotional reactions were misunderstood.

He also disputed the way certain incidents were reported, including a supposed “pornography” incident, which he clarified was a photo of a home birth.

The Legal Battle Continues

The legal battle between Lively and Baldoni is ongoing, with both sides presenting contrasting versions of what happened on the set of It Ends With Us.

The lawsuits are set to unfold further, and it remains to be seen how the situation will resolve.
