Vision Pro’s 2025 Upgrades: Siri, Gaming, and Immersive Video

Apple Vision Pro

Apple’s Vision Pro was easily one of the best tech products of 2024, but it still has a lot to prove heading into its second year.

Three significant upgrades could push the spatial computer to new heights in 2025.

Apple Intelligence (Especially for Siri)

In 2024, Apple did not integrate AI into the Vision Pro, focusing on more popular devices like the iPhone and iPad.

However, Apple Intelligence, particularly an upgraded Siri, is expected in visionOS 3. Siri’s ChatGPT integration and iOS 18.4 upgrades could make voice-first computing on Vision Pro much more powerful, enhancing the overall experience.

Robust Gaming Support

Although Apple has been trying to establish itself as a gaming platform, the Vision Pro launched without a strong gaming focus.

However, PlayStation VR2 controllers are expected to be supported soon, and Apple could expand its gaming capabilities in 2025. To compete with other VR platforms, Apple needs to prioritize gaming on Vision Pro.

Much More Apple Immersive Video

Immersive Video is one of Vision Pro’s standout features, but content has been limited. Apple is increasing its Immersive Video offerings, and 2025 looks promising for more content.

If Apple continues to expand in this area, Vision Pro could become a top entertainment device.

In conclusion, if Apple delivers on these upgrades, Vision Pro could become more compelling to a wider audience in 2025, with improved gaming, video, and voice computing experiences.
