Samsung One UI 7

Samsung has released the second beta of One UI 7, its skin on top of Android 15, and it brings a new feature for gamers: the ability to adjust the refresh rate in games more easily.

In previous versions of One UI, users could limit the frame rate to 48 Hz to save battery. However, with the new update, you can now choose between 60 Hz and 120 Hz refresh rates, offering smoother gameplay.

New Gaming Motion Smoothness Setting

This new setting can be found in the Gaming Hub or Game Booster app under the “Gaming Motion Smoothness” option. Samsung notes that this feature won’t affect games that already have their own refresh rate settings.

Additionally, games that don’t support refresh rates higher than 60 Hz won’t suddenly run at 120 Hz.

More Customization for Game Performance

One UI 7 also allows you to adjust other performance settings for each game, including the maximum frame rate, resolution, and optimization level, giving gamers more control over their experience.
