Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Book5 Pro, a new laptop powered by the Intel Lunar Lake processor and equipped with an NPU capable of 47 TOPS.

This allows the laptop to run two AI platforms: Samsung’s Galaxy AI and Microsoft’s Copilot+.

One standout feature is “AI Select,” which allows users to circle images or text on the touchscreen to search, copy text from images, or scan QR codes.

It also offers features like Photo Remaster, real-time interpreter, and Note Assist, all powered by the laptop’s NPU.

The Galaxy Book5 Pro comes in 14” and 16” sizes, both with Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels. It supports Microsoft’s Phone Link and Galaxy-specific features like Multi Control, Second Screen, and Quick Share.

With a large battery, the laptop can last up to 25 hours. It also features four speakers with Dolby Atmos and a webcam with Staggered HDR for better dynamic range.

The laptop includes Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD reader.

The Galaxy Book5 Pro will launch in South Korea on January 2, with no pricing details yet. Early sign-ups will receive a discount coupon. It will be available in Gray and Silver colors.
