Meta has rolled out the v72 Quest update, bringing a host of new features for enhanced VR and PC experiences.

Notably, the update introduces faster hand tracking, better keyboard support, and easier PC pairing.

The Remote Desktop feature now allows users to connect to a paired Windows 11 PC simply by looking at it and tapping the “Connect” button, making it more intuitive than before.

This feature requires the Mixed Reality Link app and Windows 11 22H2 or newer.

The update also improves keyboard tracking, letting you see your physical keyboard through a passthrough window in VR, similar to the Apple Vision Pro.

Additionally, the hand cursor is now more stable, and a new “hand ray visualization” helps users target objects more effectively.

Other updates include live captions for calls, direct messaging on Instagram, and a Media Gallery app for viewing images and videos, including spatial content.
