Tim Cook - Apple

In a recent Wired interview, Apple CEO Tim Cook shared how Steve Jobs’ unwavering vision for Apple convinced him the company would thrive, despite widespread doubts in the late 1990s.

Michael Dell had famously said Apple should be shut down, but after meeting Jobs in 1998, Cook never doubted Apple’s future.

Cook left a secure job at Compaq to join Apple, years before the iPod and iPhone reshaped the tech industry.

Preserving Steve Jobs’ Legacy

Even after Jobs’ death, Cook continues to draw inspiration from his old office at Apple’s former headquarters, One Infinite Loop.

“No one’s ever moved in there,” Cook said, emphasizing Jobs’ lasting influence on the company’s values and DNA.

AI: Apple’s Next Big Leap

Looking ahead, Cook sees AI as the next transformative technology for Apple. He believes AI will revolutionize products like the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, much like the iPhone’s introduction of multi-touch technology.

Cook also hinted at major improvements for Siri, making Apple’s AI more intuitive and capable of handling complex tasks.
