Crypto.com has raised the stakes in cybersecurity with a record-breaking $2 million bug bounty for hackers who discover critical vulnerabilities in its platform.

This new maximum payout, announced in collaboration with HackerOne, sets the highest-ever bounty offered by the platform.

The bounty is aimed at vulnerabilities that could lead to significant loss of funds or data breaches, encouraging ethical hackers to help enhance the platform’s security.

Since joining HackerOne in 2018, Crypto.com has paid out over $539,000 in rewards. The new bounty program underscores the company’s commitment to security and consumer protection, aiming to identify and fix vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.

The $2 million reward is for edge-case vulnerabilities that could lead to a loss of over $1 million or large-scale data leaks.

With this move, Crypto.com continues to set new standards in cybersecurity and reinforces its zero-trust security strategy.
