Apple is preparing for a significant year in 2025, with several major updates across its product lineup. iOS 19 is expected to introduce substantial changes, though many features might be delayed until spring 2026.

The iPhone lineup will see notable changes with the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Air. The Pro model will feature a larger rectangular camera bump and switch from titanium to aluminum.

The Air version will prioritize an ultra-thin design, potentially compromising on camera capabilities by reducing to a single rear lens.

Siri is set for a major transformation, with plans to introduce a large language model (LLM) based version in iOS 19.4. This could potentially make Siri more similar to ChatGPT, marking a significant upgrade for Apple’s virtual assistant.

However, not all product lines will see upgrades. The AirPods Max appears to be stagnating, with Apple reportedly having no concrete plans for meaningful updates. This comes as a disappointment to fans hoping for improvements to the premium headphones.

The upcoming year seems poised to be a transitional one for Apple, with incremental improvements across its ecosystem and some strategic shifts in product design and functionality.
