Sony IMX925 Global Shutter Sensor

Sony’s new 24.5MP IMX925 global shutter sensor offers impressive speed, reaching 442 frames per second in 8-bit mode.

The sensor uses Sony’s Pregius S technology, providing compact design, minimal noise, and high-quality imaging.

With improved pixel reading and A/D converter performance, it processes data up to four times faster than previous models.

The IMX925 can shoot 394 FPS in 10-bit mode and 212 FPS in 12-bit. It’s part of a lineup that includes the IMX935, offering slower frame rates, and the IMX926 and IMX936, smaller sensors that capture up to 660 FPS in 8-bit mode.

These sensors target industrial applications like machine vision, sports, and volumetric imaging, with potential future use in consumer cameras.
