WhatsApp is rolling out a new typing indicator to more Android users, replacing the old display at the top of the screen with a design that aligns more closely with other messaging apps.
The update, initially reported by WABetaInfo, is now reaching more users, primarily in the beta version.
While some iOS users have reported seeing the new design, it’s mostly limited on that platform.
It’s unclear when the update will reach all users, but the new look is being welcomed for its familiarity and improved user experience.
