HBO has confirmed that production for the long-awaited third season of Euphoria will begin in January 2025. The series, created by Sam Levinson, faced delays due to Hollywood strikes and the busy schedules of its star-studded cast.
Initially, HBO announced a two-year hiatus, citing script development and ongoing strikes. However, in July 2024, it was confirmed that all principal cast members would return. Francesca Orsi, HBO’s head of drama, expressed excitement about restarting production.
The new season is expected to feature a time jump, reflecting character progression beyond high school. Colman Domingo will reprise his role as Rue’s sponsor, Ali.
Filming is set to start in January 2025, and fans are eager to see how Euphoria evolves in its next chapter.
