Katy Perry is set to release her highly anticipated sixth studio album “143” on September 20, 2024. The album title is a reference to the nostalgic pager code for “I love you” from the early 90s.
Perry described the album as “a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message.” Fans can expect “singalong, heart opening, empowering, sexy, provocative pop anthems” on the record.
The album’s lead single “Woman’s World” will be released on July 11, accompanied by a Rosie the Riveter-themed music video. Perry will also take the stage at Rock in Rio in Brazil on the same day as the album’s release, marking her return to the festival since 2015.
“143” will be available on various formats including vinyl (with a limited edition deluxe purple variant), CD, cassette and digital versions. The full tracklist and production credits are yet to be announced.
