Pop singer Bebe Rexha has launched a scathing attack on the music industry, threatening to “bring down a BIG chunk” of it in a series of posts on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

The 34-year-old artist claimed she has been “silenced” and “punished” by the industry, expressing frustration over being undermined throughout her career.

In her July 2 posts, Rexha hinted at revealing “all of my truths. The good the bad and the ugly.” She alluded to past incidents, including the initial lack of credit for her work on David Guetta’s 2015 hit “Hey Mama,” describing it as “child’s play” compared to other unrevealed issues.

The Grammy-nominated singer also addressed fan speculation about the timing of her outburst, which coincides with the promotion of her new single “I’m The Drama.” Rexha insisted her actions were not a marketing ploy, stating she has “no budget for that” and is simply “fed up.”

This isn’t the first time Rexha has spoken out against the industry. In a 2021 interview, she described the music business as “the most toxic industry there is.”

Rexha’s recent statements have sparked curiosity and concern among fans, with many wondering what specific experiences have led to her current stance. As of now, no representatives from the music industry have publicly responded to Rexha’s allegations.
