Capricorn Clark, Former Diddy Assistant

Capricorn Clark, former assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs, was questioned by the defense Tuesday about her past working relationship with Combs. This took place during the ongoing federal trial where Combs faces charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.

Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo asked Clark whether she knew the man who gave her lie detector tests when Combs suspected her of stealing jewelry. Clark testified that she did not know the man’s connection to Combs.

Clark broke down in tears again while describing her time working for Combs. She said it felt like business school, especially since she did not finish college. She added, “Separate from all this stuff, I did learn a lot from Puff.”

The defense asked Clark if Combs told her she was talented, hardworking, and effective. Clark agreed.

Agnifilo then showed the court a text message Clark sent to Combs in 2021 that read, “I had the biggest crush on you.” Clark said she did not remember sending it, but admitted she liked Combs as a friend.

When asked if she respected Combs, Clark replied, “Yeah.”

The defense also said that after the federal raids on Combs’ homes, Clark had discussed returning to work as Combs’ chief of staff.

Agnifilo said, “You wanted to come back and work with Mr. Combs as his chief of staff?”

Clark responded, “We discussed it, yes.” He followed up by quoting Clark, saying, “You were always able to take care of him.”

Court is currently in lunch break. Cross-examination will continue after the recess.
